​A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to join our waitlist and is applied toward the total cost of your puppy. Your deposit secures your priority pick position within the season you’ve selected. If puppies from that litter are not a match (based on gender, color, temperament, etc.), your deposit may be:

• Transferred to the next available litter within a 12-month window

• Or, if applicable, used sooner if a puppy becomes available

Because we raise small, intentional litters, we appreciate flexibility and clear communication. We want each family to feel confident in their choice and connected to the right puppy for them. Delayed pickup past the scheduled go-home date may incur a $25/day boarding fee to ensure continued care, structure, and enrichment for your puppy.

 

 

How to Join a Waitlist

• Include in the payment Memo: Your Name, Phone#, & Wait List Season ("Winter")

• IMPORTANT! After submitting, please be sure to contact Shiloh directly via text to confirm we've received everything. We will save your contact information and all ongoing communication will be call/text (no email).

 

 

Schedule for Updates and Puppy Selections

 

Between 0-1 weeks old: Once a litter is born, we’ll send out an official New Litter Announcement to our waitlist families. This initial update will include:

• The litter birthdate

• The expected go-home date (always scheduled for a Saturday)

• When families can expect to receive photos and updates.

• At this time, we’ll ask waitlist members to confirm continued interest based on timing, coat types, and availability.

• Please note: Photos are not shared immediately to protect mama and pups during the newborn stage.

 

Between 2-3 weeks old: Litter Preview Photo including details about the number of puppies born & the colors and genders. We will ask all Waitlist members with confirmed interest & availability to confirm again based on coat, color, & gender options.

 

At 5 weeks old: Puppies will have a video and a variety of high-quality photos taken showcasing their color & markings, eyes, coat type, & the beginnings of their tiny expressions & personalities. Prices of each puppy will also be shared. Waitlist families who've confirmed interest will be contacted in deposit order to select which puppy they would like to claim. The chosen puppy will then be held exclusively for that family to meet at the 8 week Meet & Greet/Take Home Appointment. Phone consults with Shiloh are available. Each family is given 24 hours to respond to this text. Unclaimed puppies will be added to the website for public view.

 

At 7 weeks old: New photos and/or videos will be provided to each family that has claimed a puppy. It's important to remember that the Meet & Greet at 8 weeks old is the opportunity to evaluate the puppy's temperament and finalize the purchase in-person.

Don't want to submit a deposit in advance? Unsure when the time will be right? No problem! Our standard selection process of "1st come 1st serve" will still be available after Waitlist selections are complete, and the remaining puppies are added to our website. Standard deposits are also $500 and can be sent to claim a particular puppy rather than joining the Waitlist.
